To you, the parent doing it all on your own, I salute you.
I’m typing this from my bed in the Le Germain hotel in Montreal (I have an early morning television appearance tomorrow), and this sensation that I hate has come over me again…
Good old perspective. Sometimes, by changing our viewpoint, we see a situation vastly differently.
Sometimes, by looking at a situation from a new angle, we see things in a new light and are better able to manage.
Monday was our last mother-son lunch date, and I didn’t even know it. I mean, I knew the day was coming, but honestly, I thought it would be later in the week.
Except now, I’m starting to feel like this has been a long week. It’s so quiet in the house! I miss my favourite dynamic duo. I’m really looking forward to picking them up tonight…
